Did you know ‘Nano’ is very close to the city centre of Wageningen? And did you know there is a market every Wednesday and Saturday? Did you also know that we can provide new (international) students with a start-up package, containing bed sheets and cutlery?

The student rooms at Nano
The residents of Nano live in a former science building. This building was used by Wageningen University and Research (WUR). In cooperation with WUR, Socius transformed this building into student housing. The former research and lecture rooms are now home to 246 students.
Nano is a community, targeted on students at Wageningen University and Research. All students at WUR are welcome, international and Dutch. Good to know: every room at Nano is furnished. The size of the rooms varies between 12 and 30 square metre. The rent varies from €350,- to €575,- per month.
What is it like living at Nano?
Everyone living at Nano is a student. Because of this, Nano has a very fun atmosphere. Residents have gathered in a committee and try to organize an event every two months. There is always something to do and residents usually have dinner together in the shared living rooms and kitchens.
Nano is an international community. At Nano, people from all over the world have gathered and are living together. This makes for a very unique location and interesting neighbors.
